It’s getting hot in here.

McDonald’s has brought back a fan-favorite menu item, the spicy chicken McNuggets, for a limited time in participating restaurants, according to its website.

The nuggets, which are breaded in a crispy coating and spiced with aged cayenne and chili pepper, come in four sizes — 6, 10, 20, and 40 pieces.

The delectable delicacy popped up in the US in 2020, according to Eat This, Not That!, returning each year since on a limited basis.

According to the outlet, when the specialty came back last year, it was only available at about half the McDonald’s locations nationwide.

The Post reached out to McDonald’s for comment.

On Instagram, the food blogger known as @snackolator posted about the popular item, even claiming they are the greatest McNuggets of all time.

“These have been out a few times now, but they’re making another triumphant return which is great because they’re the GOAT of the McNugget kingdom,” the blogger wrote.

In the comments section, many fans expressed their enthusiasm.

“They need to make this permanent,” one person wrote.

“Ohmg yes, lunch today gonna be amazing,” another agreed.

Someone else yelled, “SUBLIME!”

Others, however, lamented the disappearance of other limited edition items, like the snack wrap.

“I want them snack wraps!!” one Instagram user exclaimed.

“Where the hell are the snack wraps,” another fumed.

This is not the only item McDonald’s has brought back in recent months.

In May, the chain reintroduced the Oreo Frappé for the spring and summer after an eight-year hiatus.

The drink clocks in at 460 calories for the small size.

McDonald’s also said it will scrap self-serve soft drink machines.

According to the State Journal-Register of Illinois, the Chicago-based food giant will phase them out in the next decade, due to concerns over hygiene, theft and evolving consumer habits.

But don’t worry — free refills will still be available.
